What is Yoga Nidra?
Yoga Nidra is a guided relaxation technique that systematically relaxes the body and mind. During this practice, you'll be gently guided through a series of visualizations and affirmations while remaining comfortably still.
No prior yoga experience is necessary! This session is perfect for beginners and those seeking a gentle and restorative experience.

About your instructor:
Matthew Mitlas is an advanced professional Yoga Educator (E-RYT 500, YACEP), Licensed Massage Therapist, and Ayurvedic Health Counselor. In practice since 2011, Matthew specializes in the engaged, therapeutic application of a variety of traditional and modern yoga, ayurveda, and bodywork techniques. Matthew's yoga classes are comprehensive, challenging yet accessible to all-levels, and filled with uplifting Yogic philosophy. Each class is thoughtfully planned to suit the individuals and demographics present. Matthew embraces community, diversity, and the fundamental teaching of Yoga: that we are all ONE! Outside of his work, Matthew loves to travel, sing, and spend time in nature. He is also an avid film and television enthusiast- ask him about some of his favorites!
