Read To A Dog is intended for children of reading age/elementary age. The purpose of this program is to allow children the opportunity to practice reading aloud with confidence in a judgement-free space or to simply visit with a therapy dog.

Each child/family will have a total of 15 minutes to read to and visit with a therapy dog. Please have your book(s) picked out and ready to read before the program.

This mindful experience includes a 40-minute participatory performance for young children (ages 3-6) and their families. There will be songs, cooperative games, mindfulness practices and stories, all promoting social and emotional well-being.
